I’m looking at getting a serger for my birthday in January and was wondering if you had any suggestions.

Here’s some info and expectations

• Needs to be able to serge 2 layers of jeans (I don’t think I’m gonna get taller any time soon, and the save the bottom seam hem method is my favorite).
• I have never serged before, my mom had a Babylock for a long time from my Figure Skating days but it recently bit the dust.
• Something easy to use would be nice, all those threads look pretty scary!
• Looking for something mid-grade that will hold up with sewing jeans.

So if anyone has any suggestions for a mid-grade serger or any serging experiences I’m all ears. (Serge nightmares with happy endings only please!)
