Girly Superman T-shirt Applique
Super easy tee shirt applique technique I made for a friend. Once I made all the guys Tees & Superman capes I knew it was time to outfit Mom in something Super but PINK =)
Materials:
- Tee Shirt
- Contrasting Knit Remnant the size your desired applique.
(Sometimes the easiest way to get the color you want is to buy a clearance tee). - Disappearing Ink Pen
- Template to Trace. (I printed this Superman Logo and cut this out with an exacto knife)
Stitch 1/4” from the outside edge.
Stitch along the traced line on the interior lines.
Snip away the white fabric leaving a 1/8” seam allowance.
Don’t snip too close to the edges.
Spray water on the tee to remove the purple lines.
Finished!
